šŸ’šPietersite - Stone ofĀ Transformation, Insight, Intuition

Benefits of Tumbled Stones:Ā The smooth and polished surface of tumbled stones enhances their energy, making them ideal for harnessing the metaphysical properties of crystals.

šŸ’šPietersite has the appearance of a churning storm, and is known as the Tempest Stone because of its connection to the storm element. It signifies the storm that can rage within , and the cleansing & renewal once the storm has passed. It is believed that Pietersite can dispell stormy emotions and bring back feelings of calm and balance. Some people carry it while driving in harsh weather because they believe it will confer protection.

šŸ’š In crystal energy work, Pietersite is connected to the 3rd chakra (brow) and helps to stimulate the third eye and the pineal gland, helping to access intuition and promote profound precognition and spiritual visions. This ethereal, combined with its equally grounding parts can help to connect the divine intuition with the earthly realm.

WHY IT'S AWESOME?Ā It is wild that pietersite is not more famous. It has that same radiant, 3D shimmer as tigerā€™s eye gemstones. But instead of simple bands, the different colors swirl across the surface in a chaotic manner giving the impression of flowing liquids which have been frozen in time.Ā  Folklore talks aboutĀ Pietersite as a stone of vision and can be used in shamanic journeys. It is believed to help with the connection to the Akashic records and intuititive insights of your path.

WHAT IS PIETERSITE? Pietersite is a brecciated semi-precious gemstone that is part of the quartz family. It is also called Tempestone. Breccia comes from the Italian word for 'loose gravel' and in this example, pietersite is a crystal made of broken fragments that are embedded in a matrix that looks folded and stressed due to the pressure of Earth. Pietersite gem has chatoyancy that is similar to the tigerā€™s eye. Although it can come in many colors, it is often found in a mixture of gold and copper tones combined with cool blue hues. It is named after the man who found it, Sid Pieters of South Africa in the 1960's.
